Advent is a season of the liturgical year observed in most Christian denominations as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for both the celebration of the Nativity of Christ at Christmas and the return of Christ at the Second Coming.
Looking deeper inside of this waiting, we discover a kind of mutual allurement between us and the Christ wanting to arise newly in us in every moment. And we find the invitation to welcome this in advance. This mutual allurement brings with it a kind of rest – a shift from trying to make something happen out there to a surrendering into the awareness that this ever-evolving Christ consciousness is wanting with equal intensity to be actualized within us.
We begin our Advent season with an exploration of these three “W’s: the wanting, the waiting, and the welcoming, as we attune to the sweet voice of our own Christ calling.
We are very excited to announce the reopening of our in-person services and are looking forward to seeing you now every Sunday @ 10 am PT! The leadership and production teams have been busily creating a service with you in mind that is both spiritually nurturing and inspiring. Afterwards, please join us for live fellowship.
