“I realize there’s something incredibly honest about trees in winter, how they’re experts at letting things go.”
~ Jeffrey McDaniel
When it comes to letting go, nature in winter is our great teacher. Every year, we see trees releasing the most breathtakingly beautiful leaves, until not even one is left. There is a sense of trust that the new way of being that is coming, is worth making room for, even at the expense of our most precious familiarities.
In our humanness, releasing and letting go can be an act of profound courage. We can feel like Abraham being asked to sacrifice his only son, Isaac. It’s a kind of death for the person we knew ourselves to be in our attachments. But there is nothing more freeing than letting go of what is no longer serving us.
Join us this Sunday as we step into this greater awareness of abundance as together, we discover wings we never knew we had, experience new possibilities beyond what we could have imagined and find ourselves seeing the face of God again for the first time.
We are very excited to announce the reopening of our in-person services and are looking forward to seeing you now every Sunday @ 10 am PT! The leadership and production teams have been busily creating a service with you in mind that is both spiritually nurturing and inspiring. Afterwards, please join us for live fellowship.
