The transformational story of Tiny Tim, one of the most endearing characters in A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens will offer us a mirror to reflect on our own life. Tim is only 6 years old, but he senses the despair of his father Bob Cratchit and feels his own pain—from his crippled legs and from other boys who bully him. Like Ebeneezer Scrooge, he has unearthly visitors, but his are lighthearted, mystical Spirits who inspire him to look beyond his suffering, recognize the gift of Presence, and discover the miracle and wonder of Christmas.

Biography

Leonard Szymczak is an award-winning author, TEDx speaker, psychotherapist, and life coach. For several years he gave monthly talks at the San Juan Capistrano Unity Church.

His books include Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol; Bob Cratchit’s Christmas Carol; The Roadmap Home: Your GPS to Inner Peace (an Amazon bestseller); as well as the novels, Cuckoo Forevermore and Kookaburra’s Last Laugh, Lighthearted Satires on Psychotherapy. He is the co-author, along with Mari Frank, of Fighting for Love: Turn Conflict into Intimacy.
