The Creation Series

Charles Fillmore, the co-founder of Unity often said that the Bible is the story of the evolution of consciousness. Within that grand saga lies a variety of sub-plots that act as windows into the soul of humankind. Metaphysical, the Seven Days of Creation, as described in the book of Genesis, lays out for us the creative process by which we as humans consciously bring forth the material world from the world of Spirit. This series offers an in-depth look at each of the seven days of creation, uncovering the deeper spiritual truths hidden within these ancient texts and supporting us in bringing heaven to earth in newly empowered ways.

Day 6: In His Image: Exploring Our Divine Blueprint

As we enter the sixth day of creation, we greet the creation of humankind and discover the profound statement that we are made in the image and likeness of the divine. To truly know who we are as humans is to truly know the divine. Seeking the divine is a primal calling ingrained deep within. It’s as if within our Soul’s coding, there is a homing device ever tuning us to the frequency of the Divine, alluring us into new paradigms of Love just beyond our perceptual edges.

This week we will explore this through the lens of Paul Smith’s “Three Faces of God”:

As we behold the Infinite Face of God, we find rest in the vast wisdom of a God who is beyond the confines of space and time, whose love will always be larger than any condition we can or ever will experience.

As we behold the Intimate Face of God, we discover a God who is close enough to hold us when we are hurting and personal enough to see and know us in my true essential nature.

As we behold the Inner Face of God, we become the eyes, ears, hands and feet of the Divine in the world, fully expressing our unique flavor of love. This communion manifests many in-roads, many mansions with countless open doors. Join us as we claim the many faceted fullness of our divine natures and live inside of the joy of magical possibilities.

In a climate of great uncertainty, polarity of thinking and a crying out for healing on a global scale, our Sunday Experience offers the inspiring message that the fundamental nature of the Universe and all beings is Goodness and Love.
