The 12 Powers of the New Human

In 1930, Charles Fillmore wrote an amazing book entitled, “The 12 Power of Man”, through which we are invited to explore 12 cosmic portals through which we receive and express unlimited potential in the world. In alignment with our purpose statement: “Birthing the New Human as the Face of Evolving Love on the Planet”, in this series, we will explore each power through an evolutionary lens, bringing presence to our own living edges as well as emerging possibilities for love on the planet.

Divine Zeal: The Fire of Evolution’s Arrow

“Without zeal, stagnation, inertia, and death would prevail throughout the universe. [A person] without zeal is like an engine without steam or an electric motor without a current.”

Winifred Wilkinson Hausmann tells us that Zeal “is the impulse to go forward, the urge behind all things.”

Charles Fillmore pointed to the importance of our God-given ability to be zealous, enthusiastic about life and living and details the limitation of a life that is lacking in the development of Zeal. He wrote his famous quote “I fairly sizzle with zeal and enthusiasm and spring forth with a mighty faith to do that which is mine to do!” when he was 93 years old!
