Join us this Sunday at a special CSL/ULV joint service @ 10 am as we welcome special guest, Rev. Dr. Raymont Anderson who is truly embarking on the journey to live a sacred life. One of his favorite quotes is: “It must be borne in mind that the tragedy of life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach. It isn’t a calamity to die with dreams unfilled, but it is a calamity not to dream. It is not a disaster to be unable to capture your ideal, but it is a disaster to have no ideal to capture. It is not a disgrace not to reach the stars, but it is a disgrace to have no stars to reach for.” Benjamin Elijah Mays
What led Rev. Dr. Anderson to this path in life?
“Hmmm, the short answer is – having suffered for most of my life with depression, low self-worth, low self-esteem, co-dependency, and with the consciousness of victimhood, scarcity, and lack, I finally had enough! While I was introduced to the areas of consciousness building and spirituality while in middle school, it wasn’t until much later that I more actively and more consciously began walking in my current direction. So, many years of suffering and praying to die in my sleep lead to my eventual meltdown and rise from the ashes like the phoenix imagery I so passionately love.”
