Entangled Presencing: The Weaving of Embodied Prayer
What if prayer is not a monologue to the divine—but a field we step into? What if prayer includes not just our words, but our muscles, memories, griefs, and laughter? What if prayer is already happening—between trees, ancestors, oceans, algorithms—and we are simply learning to join in?
In this five-week Sunday series, we explore Unity’s 5-step prayer process through an embodied lens – one that honors the fullness of our own beingness, mind, heart and body and our entanglement with each other, with Earth, and with the sacred unknown.
Together we’ll shift from performance to presence, from certainty to curiosity, and from control to co-creation. Expect poetry, paradox, spiritual practice, and sacred humor. Expect to be surprised. Expect to feel. Join us as we enter the sacred weave together.
Week One: Flipping The Script: Prayer as Field, Not Formula

In this opening message of our five-week series, we begin by loosening the grip of outdated paradigms – prayer as control, as transaction, as spiritual checklist. Together, we’ll unearth the subtle (and not-so-subtle) scripts we’ve inherited about how prayer “should” look, sound, or feel.
And then, gently, we’ll shift exploring prayer not as a formula, but as a field – a living, relational space we enter with our whole selves. A space where silence speaks, and the sacred moves through presence more than words. Bring your questions, your longing, your tender skepticism. Something new is trying to emerge. Let’s meet it together.
