Entangled Presencing: The Weaving of Embodied Prayer
What if prayer is not a monologue to the divine—but a field we step into? What if prayer includes not just our words, but our muscles, memories, griefs, and laughter? What if prayer is already happening—between trees, ancestors, oceans, algorithms—and we are simply learning to join in?
In this five-week Sunday series, we explore Unity’s 5-step prayer process through an embodied lens – one that honors the fullness of our own beingness, mind, heart and body and our entanglement with each other, with Earth, and with the sacred unknown.
Together we’ll shift from performance to presence, from certainty to curiosity, and from control to co-creation. Expect poetry, paradox, spiritual practice, and sacred humor. Expect to be surprised. Expect to feel. Join us as we enter the sacred weave together.
Week Five: Becoming The Prayer: A Taizé Reflection

As we conclude our Entangled Presencing series, we gather for a Taizé-inspired service – an experience of prayer through word, song, and silence. Originating from the Taizé monastic community in France, a Taizé service is a meditative form of worship that blends simple, repetitive chants, sacred readings, and extended moments of quiet. It invites the heart and body to rest beyond thought, opening space for deep communion with the Divine.
In this special reflection, we move through four rotations of spoken word, music, and silence, revisiting the teachings of Embodied Prayer not through the intellect, but through Presence. Together, we will feel the prayer we have been becoming – each breath, each note, each stillness an offering of love to the greater field of life. Come as you are. Bring your breath, your body, and your listening heart.
In a climate of great uncertainty, polarity of thinking and a crying out for healing on a global scale, our Sunday Experience offers the inspiring message that the fundamental nature of the Universe and all beings is Goodness and Love.
